PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING SERVICES

 Accepted insurance plans include: Aetna, Cigna, Humana, Blue Cross, Beacon Health Plan, Medicaid (Ambetter, CareSource, and Peachstate plans only), United/Optum, Magellan, and Various EAP plans are also accepted.  

 

You may choose to use your insurance or private pay out of pocket.Invoices are provided upon request in order for the client to submit to their insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Additionally, services provided by an intern are available at a discounted rate. 

Helpful Therapy Center, LLC serves as an internship site to such schools as Boston University, Northwestern University, and Georgia State University; hosting graduate students and nurses as they acquire the experience and exposure to help gain confidence in their craft. 

Individual Therapy

Individual counseling facilitates the exploration and resolution of personal challenges according to the needs of the individual such as: stress, depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. At HTC we feature a customized course of treatment tailored to meet each individual clients needs. Sessions are typically face to face but video sessions can also be provided in order to allow for more flexibility. 

- $125 per 1 hour session Child, Teen, or Adult

- $75 per 1 hour session with Associate Counselor  (services are supervised by Cherrell Thomas, LPC)

- $50 per 1 hour session with Counseling Intern  (services are supervised by Cherrell Thomas, LPC)

Group Therapy 

We are offering a Teen Support Program that includes bi-weekly Depression & Anxiety groups, Individual Skills Building sessions, and Parent Support meetings. Saturdays: Apr 1, Apr 15, Apr 29, May 13, May 20th. Ages 13-15 at 11am - 12:30pm, Ages 16-18 at 1pm - 2:30pm

 - $50 per session

Family Therapy ***not currently offered (resuming Summer 2023)**

Whether you are going through a "rough patch", your family is dealing with major transitions or your child's moods are starting to concern you; there are treatment options to assist you in putting things back together.

 - $110 per 1 hour session with Associate Counselor  (services are supervised by Cherrell Thomas, LPC)

Workshops ***when offered**

Therapeutic classes provide an alternative method to enriching your life and learning from yourself and others. Workshops are offered for groups of 5 or more in either a 1-day, 6 hour session or a 1hr/day, 6 week series.  MORE INFO>>>

- Costs range from $45 - $90 per person depending on capacity.
